Happy Monday Everyone!!
Another first for me at Graphitene. I’m about to write a regular blog! Hooray, another challenge!
A bit about me
– I’m Sarah and I’m the non-scientist, mother figure of the Graphitene Team. I am not a teenager, this is not my first job or my first career. Heck, it’s not even my third job or career!
Around here, I’m responsible for biscuits, shipping, ordering stuff, finding stuff, monitoring stuff and generally dealing with any other stuff that is thrown at me. I think that we can safely say that “stuff” is my forte.
I look after three scientists and two lab techs on a daily basis and if anyone else comes to visit I make sure that they are fed, watered and looked after.
What I know about Graphene can possibly be written on the back of a postage stamp, (in large letters!) but I’m surrounded by great people who help me out by explaining stuff in layman’s terms.
My plan is to have this blog with small updates on our daily trials, tribulations and successes. It may be about science, but more often than not it will just be me trying to make sense of what’s going on around me.
There are likely to be good days and bad days, so stick with me, I shall always try to find something worthwhile or of interest to talk about. Even if I don’t fully understand it yet.
