Happy Hump Day Everyone!

Looking forward to a lovely long weekend with some (fingers crossed) beautiful weather with my family, but in the meantime, busy exporting samples and graphene products around the world.

It’s been a stressful week as far as computer systems go – some of our couriers sites seem to have been severely affected by the recent Ransomware infection, but as with all things, you find a way to make things work and get stuff out of the doors.

My colleagues will be attending the Graphene Technology Day tomorrow (Thursday 25th May 9:30 to 19:00), a chance to meet and greet and get to know us a bit better. I am seriously gutted that I won’t be able to attend, I was really looking forward to meeting some of you and picking your brains about all things Graphene!

Unfortunately, childcare commitments have made a trip to Cambridge impossible for me. You guys are not ready for my whirling dervish of a child to descend upon you, but in a few years he’ll be a paid up member of the Graphitene Team. His current favourite excuse for not wanting to go to nursery is “but mummy, I want to come to work with you and be on your work team”…. I obviously talk too much about everyone and our “team”!

Have fun in Cambridge everyone and I look forward to hearing all about it. Be sure to look out for Gaute Juliussen, Stefano Borini and Frederik Huld – all photos gratefully received to sarah@graphitene.com!
